It’s that time of year again can you believe it?  This year seems to be flying by just like all of the others.  Knowing there is only a few months until Halloween and Christmas I started thinking early about holiday dog clothes.  I was looking around the other day and there are some incredibly cute dog clothes online.  I have a few parties to go to that everyone brings their dogs.  (Dog lovers you know!)  Me being me well I have to have the cutest dog clothes on my dog.

There are many things you can do with your dog on their birthday.  Take her for a great walk, or take him on a great ride with the windows down so his ears can blow and he can get many sniffs!  You may want to invite friends over for a little dog party.  If you do that don’t forget the dog dresses or dog shirts.  You know your dog will need to be dressed to the hilt for his or her party.

Go out and celebrate your dog and the wonderful feeling you have when he or she licks your face!

Just like your children your dog needs to stay safe also.  Many people don’t realize how many dangerous things can happen when you travel with an unharnessed dog in their car.  If you travel without your dog in a seat belt you will discover that your dog can jump about the car wildly looking out the windows, jumping in your lap, jumping from the front seat to that back seat and vice versa.  If you should get in an accident while traveling with your dog they can be injured just like a person can.  A dog can fly through the window, break a bone or acquire other injuries.

If you are seriously thinking about taking your pet on vacation this summer please be sure and purchase a dog harness and a seat belt attachment to keep your dog safe.  You may already have a designer dog harness and just need the seat belt attachment.  Get it before you take off your dog will be safe and your vacation will be much more enjoyable.

A friend of mine has a beautiful Rottweiler.  You know they have very shinny black hair.  Champ just loves to go walking and my friend takes him a lot and feels very safe when he walks.  He was looking around for a really blingy collar to put on Champ so people would really look at him.  Not only is he a big dog he now has a very beautiful bling collar.  This collar has solid Swarovski Crystals side by side and looks fabulous.  Champ is so proud.

First we have a drought and huge fires and now it’s raining and the rain has been crazy around here.  I guess we are never happy with the weather.   

With all of the rain we have been having I started thinking about my dog.  You see I have to think about him because when it thunders and lighting’s he starts shaking.  He is really scared of storms.  He pants and watches the windows all the while it’s raining.  He is a rescue dog and we would really like to know what happened to him while he was on the run.  When it starts storming all he wants to do is get outside.  I guess he wants to run from it and that’s why he wants out.  I sure feel sorry for him because he shakes and pants so hard one would think he would have a stroke.

After the storm is over we do take him out.  It may still be raining a little but he doesn’t mind.  However, the streets are still wet and the grass is soaking.  We put on his dog raincoat and off he goes.  It rains all day sometimes and you know when a dog’s gotta go he’s gotta go.  On goes the little dog raincoat and out we go to get wet.  Even if it isn’t raining it keeps him dry underneath so he doesn’t get so wet.
