Traveling With Your Pet
Author: MyBestPet
Today the majority of pet owners treat their dogs just like a member of their family. They take them everywhere; give them the same necessities and luxuries as they give their own children. Also, life can be so much more fun with you travel with your dog. If you are taking your dog on the family vacation this summer there are things you should be thinking about.
Just like your children your dog needs to stay safe also. Many people don’t realize how many dangerous things can happen when you travel with an unharnessed dog in their car. If you travel without your dog in a seat belt you will discover that your dog can jump about the car wildly looking out the windows, jumping in your lap, jumping from the front seat to that back seat and vice versa. If you should get in an accident while traveling with your dog they can be injured just like a person can. A dog can fly through the window, break a bone or acquire other injuries.
If you are seriously thinking about taking your pet on vacation this summer please be sure and purchase a dog harness and a seat belt attachment to keep your dog safe. You may already have a designer dog harness and just need the seat belt attachment. Get it before you take off your dog will be safe and your vacation will be much more enjoyable.
By the way, have a great summer vacation.
Stormy Weather!

Although it’s not spring yet we’ve had some really bad weather here in the center of the United States. Oklahoma had some tornadoes last week and there were numerous houses and business destroyed. There was national attention given to these storms so I’m sure a lot of you saw the destruction.
Have you ever thought about your dog or cat should these storms hit your neighborhood? What happens to the family pet when destruction hits? Animals are devastated when storms hit and the best thing we could do is have a collar on our pet with a name tag hanging from it. Let’s say that a dog was in the house when it gets hit by one of these storms. It doesn’t have a house anymore and is roaming the streets looking for home. Wouldn’t you hope someone would be nice enough to rescue you pet from this disaster? If your dog had a dog collar and a personalized tag you would be able to be reunited with your pet easier and the healing could start.
Please remember your pet and be sure that his or her dog collar and tag are around there neck when storms hit. Our pets deserve the best and we are the ones responsible.

Baby its cold outside! Your dog doesn’t need to be out on his or her daily walks without a dog coat these days. With all of the winter weather we are having your dog needs to be protected from the elements with a really heavy dog coat. It’s snowing in several states and a big cold blast is getting ready to hit the plains, it’s time to get out the dog clothes.
Our dogs can’t tell us when they are cold so we need to make that decision to put on a dog coat, dog jacket or it nothing else a heavy dog sweater. True they have their own coats but a heavy winter dog coat is the best thing to keep your dog warm and safe from the bitter cold this winter.
Winter Dog Boots!
Author: CaseyDog
Well, as everyone knows by now, winter is in full swing. It’s cold everywhere so we have to stop and think about our dogs in the server cold weather and all the potential dangers dogs can encounter outside. The chemical ice melt that is put on the streets and sidewalks is poisonous to your dog if ingested. Make sure when your dog comes in from the outside that you wash off his feet so he doesn’t try and lick off the chemical. A better method to use around your home on the sidewalk or driveway is sand. It will not melt the ice but in will provide traction.
Another way to keep your dogs feet free from the chemical ice melt is dog clothing or dog boots. The boots can be put on your dogs feet to protect them from the poisonous chemical that may potentially harm them. While outside don’t forget to put on dog jackets. Dog coats, dog sweaters and dog jackets will keep your pet warm in the cold icy weather and protect their coats from getting the ice melt on them.

Winter weather can be fun and exciting for the family and the family dog. There are some important hazards for your dog that you should keep in mind. First is the most obvious is the extreme cold.
All dogs need to have their time outdoors, but if your live where the weather is cold all the time the dogs time outside should be limited. Some breeds like the cold and are built for cold but even these dogs should be monitored for icy paws or frozen ear tips. If you have a short haired dog they should have on dog clothing or not be left outside for any length of time.
Our dog deserve our protection because they are so faithful and trust us implicitly. Protect your dog while he or she is outside with dog sweaters or dog coats. They deserve the best and we should give them the best.

Now it’s a New Year and we have to think about the next holiday. I love all the holiday’s don’t you? After the New Years party Valentine’s Day approaches quickly. You know our dog’s hold the key to our heart. I found some really cute dog collars for my little pal to wear. Not only do some of the dog collars act as pet accessories they also keep our dog safe. The Star of the Season!

Are you getting a new puppy for Christmas this year? If you are be sure and check out the different breeds because your dogs temperament should match yours. You shouldn’t choose a breed that is highly energetic if you’re a couch potato. On the other hand, if you want a dog that will follow you everywhere and who is always ready for a game of fetch or tug of war you should consider a dog that is highly active and always has a lot of energy, instead of one of the lethargic breeds. You wouldn’t like it if your wanted to play and he wanted to lay.
What ever breed you decide to get your dog will need a collar. The dog collars are the most beneficial item you can have for your dog. A very important item to hang on the dog collar is the dog’s information. His or her name, rabies information, and your information. If the dog should happen to run off, someone can look at the dog collars tags and call you when they find your dog.
Dogs are wonderful friends and when we get them we plan on having them around for a long time. Keep those dog collars on because you wouldn’t want to ever loose your best friend.
Dog Clothes for Different Seasons!

Our furry dog companions have different clothing needs for different seasons. The summer and the winter are the two seasons that are potentially harmful weather to dogs. Dog coats can be an important part of your dogs winter wardrobe. Some people think it’s silly to dress up dogs. Dog clothing does serve a protective purpose. However, this is not the only reason people buy dog coats or other dog apparel. Owners just like dressing up their dogs. Some owners dress their dog as an accessory to their own wardrobes. Regardless of the reason people do dress up their pets.
Years ago, people would find dressing up a dog for protection would be just crazy, but more pets were kept outside years ago and they got used to the extreme elements. Since they had more exposure their bodies tolerated it much better. Today many of our dogs spend their time indoors and the winter dog coats and dog sweaters are a necessity when walking your dog in the frigged cold weather. Today’s dogs need our protection especially if they spend most of their time inside with us.
Rainy Days and Dogs!
Author: MyBestPet
Most dogs don’t like the rain. As I set looking out my window it’s raining and my dog just sets by the door and watches. He gets a little scared when it storms, but he doesn’t mind walking in the rain because he has a great dog raincoat.
During the fall and winter months it’s important that we dress our pet well. The rain is cold and our dogs must be covered with the dog clothes available so they can stay comfortable. The small dog breeds need the protection because of their small stature and the large dog breeds like boxers need to stay warm due to their hair being so short and close to their skin.
Dress your pet in the cool dog raincoats available now and walk away. You wouldn’t go without your raincoat and neither should your dog.
