Dog Carriers

If you’re like me you like to show off your dog.  I like to take Ricky with me on my trips to the park when I exercise.  I found the front style dog carriers do the trick for me.  I can have him close when I walk and he enjoys the great outdoors.

Dogs like to go along all the time and I found with a great looking small dog carrier my dog can be with me on my short trips.  If he gets a little tired he can curl up in the bottom and take one of the many naps he takes during the day.  Dog’s life gotta love it.

Dog Collars

I can’t tell you how much my dog likes to ride my bike with me.  He sees me put on my riding clothes and he is going wild.  How dare I not take him with me.  It’s pretty important for him to have just the right harness to ride with me so I dress him in his leather also.

There are a ton of dog collars to get right now and when my man wants to get on my bike and ride you can be sure he has on his leathers just like me.  And you can be sure that he is in a safe place on my bike.  I wouldn’t want to loose my best riding buddy.

Dog Hats

Most all of us want our pets to be comfortable but why not be cute also?  I ran across some really cute dog hats that I thought would look so cute on my best friend.  I love the camo hats that are in a variety of different collars.  I call these hats the “can’t see me hats”; and believe me there are times that my dog has gotten into a little bit of trouble and she wishes I couldn’t see her.

Dog hats are cute, secure under the chin and useful, as they can protect your dog’s eyes from the bright sun that is harmful to their eyes.  So if you’re dressing your pet to be cute in a dog hat then you can be sure you are protecting their eyes from the sun.

Dog Collars

Individuality is what some dog’s like so I started checking out the handmade dog collars.  The fabric in the dog collars is a sturdy premium cotton fabric and lined with a stiffening agent for durability.  There are many fabric’s to choose from and their is the right design for any dog.

As always a dog collar and leash are the most important thing when walking your dog.  If you have a fussy dog and he or she likes to be unique, you may want to check out the handmade dog collars.  I found some I really like and maybe you will to.

Charming Dog Accessories

Maybe you like the dog clothes you see on many dogs now but all that fancy stuff just isn’t for your dog.  Have you ever thought about just a collar with a charm hanging from it?  There are many collars on the market now so why not dress your dog with a few pet accessories and make the fashion statement with a little bling?

Some dogs just don’t like to wear all the dog clothes but I have never seen a dog that didn’t like a little attention.  The charms that fit on the dog collars are just stunning.  They sparkle beautifully in the sunlight if they’re made of the Swarovski crystal.

Everyone knows that a dog collar is an important thing to have on your dog for safety reasons in case they get away from you but why not make that fashion statement with a little bling on their collar?

How about a dog stroller?

You may find yourself asking, “Why do I need a pet stroller instead of a dog carrier?”.  Although they are lavish, maybe you need to look at it from a different angle.  What are some the of benefits one can get from having this useful pet stroller?

Some people may find that a pet stroller is a great idea for hopping from city to city visiting all the scenic places on your vacation or just strolling around the malls with your pets.  Pet strollers are a comfort to pets and ensures safety when traveling.  With your pet in a stroller you won’t have to worry about controlling your pet as if on a leash.  Dog strollers keep your pets paws clean and protected form any harm caused by hot pavement or trash.  Injured, disabled or old pets like to be outside also for a good walk; and a pet stroller would be the perfect solution for these wonderful pets that have given us so much love.  What about the vet trips?  A pet stroller would keep you pet’s feet free from other contamination’s he/she could come in contact with.

With all the uses for a pet stroller; can you really ask yourself, “Why do I need a pet stroller?”  Choose the perfect pet stroller that is appropriate for your dog’s weight and height.

Dog Jackets

I was driving down the street the other day and saw a dog riding on a motorcycle.  I’m telling you that dog was loving it.  Talk about getting some sniffs in the air that is passing you could almost see him smile.  With the gas prices so high now days there are a lot more motor cycles on the roads.

It made me wonder about the dog clothing out there for the “biker dog”.  I found dog harnesses, dog collars, dog jackets and a variety of biker dog stuff.

Our dogs have all they need with the designer dog clothes now.  I was, however, a bit concerned about the dogs safety.  If you have a dog that loves to ride with you on your cool bike be sure a take the precautions necessary to keep them safe.  Strap him/her on tight and have a cool ride.

Dogs can get sunburn too!

Dog T Shirts

Just like humans, dogs need sunlight for their health but we must protect them just like we protect our children.  Dogs are sensitive to the ultraviolet rays that come from the sun.  These rays can irritate our dogs skin and cause sunburn.

Short-haired dogs are more prone to sunburn usually on their nose, groin, abdomen and inside of the legs.  Being so close to the ground they get the rays from above as well as the reflection from the pavement or sand.  We need to protect our dogs from these harmful rays and there are ways to do that.  Keep your dog inside during the peak heat of the day, apply sunblock to the bridge of their nose and tips of their ears whenever they are outside more that a few minutes.  Some vets say to use protective dog clothing such as dog t-shirts, dog hats, or dog visors to keep the sun off your pet.

Our dogs give us unconditional love and we need to give that in return.  Let them play outside for a few minutes a day but protect them from the harmful UV rays that could cause serious injury.

Pet Accessories

Every dog likes to ride in cars and it is so important for them to be safe while riding.  There are different things on the market for ways to keep them safe.  The dog collars or dog harnesses can be buckled in the car using the car seat-belts.  These vest-style restraints are fashionable and padded to distribute the weight while the car is braking.

Dogs are at risk when in the car.  Not only could they “cause” an accident (by sitting in your lap) but if they are just roaming around the car and there should be an accident they could get thrown from the car.  We don’t think about those things when we put our precious pets in the car and start out but since there is more and more traffic on the streets this should be on our minds.

Check out the pet accessories and look at the dog harnesses available and remember Safety First for Dogs!
