Pet Clothes

Every dog likes to ride in cars and it is so important for them to be safe while riding.  There are different things on the market for ways to keep them safe.  The dog collars or dog harnesses can be buckled in the car using the car seat-belts.  These vest-style restraints are fashionable and padded to distribute the weight while the car is braking.

Dogs are at risk when in the car.  Not only could they “cause” an accident (by sitting in your lap) but if they are just roaming around the car and there should be an accident they could get thrown from the car.  We don’t think about those things when we put our precious pets in the car and start out but since there is more and more traffic on the streets this should be on our minds.

Have you ever thought about your dogs eyes out in the sun and wind?  Just like us they also need eye protection.  Ultra Violet sun-rays are harmful for dogs eyes just like they are harmful to our eyes.  Dogs also like to catch some air when riding in the car.  They like to hang their head out and catch all the smells while letting the wind blow in their faces.  The dog sunglasses can protect their eyes from the wind and the dirt that blows in their faces while their heads are out of the window.

Pet accessories are great for your dog and the dog sunglasses that come in several colors and will complement any of the dog clothes you may have for your dog.  Whether you’re on the beach in the sun or driving down the road with your dogs head out of the window, I think the dog sunglasses are an important part of any dog clothing and accessories.

On these “hot” summer days our dogs still like to be outside and go for their walks or go just about anywhere with us.  Some of the dog clothes or dog shirts may be a little to hot for some dogs so why not a cute dog tie accessory?  Pet accessories may be just the thing because some dogs like to be dressed for any occasion and a dog pet accessory tie could be just the thing for them.  You can put one of these ties on your cute little boy and even though he is dressed for the occasion he won’t be too hot. 

It’s very important when your dog is outside that they get plenty of water.  I found out also that the cement is very hot this time of year so watch out for their feet.  Be sure they are able to walk in the grass so their pads won’t be harmed.

My advice is to put on your dogs favorite pet accessories and go out for your summer walk.  Your dog will love it and so will you.

There are some neighborhood rules that require dogs to be on dog leashes.  There is a reason for these rules.  One thing is to keep your dog close to you and another is to keep your dog from running all over the neighborhood and perhaps getting hit by a car.  What about keeping them from biting strangers?  There are several rules that dog owners should follow to keep their dogs safe.

One of the leashes I like to use is the retractable dog leash.  Unlike the designer dog leashes which doesn’t allow you dog to run ahead very far these leashes will give your dog a little freedom to run.  I find that I can get some exercise when I walk my dog with one of these leashes.  He can run ahead and catch some scents and when he stops I can keep on walking and he can catch up.  This dog leash will retract when your dog needs to be close by your side.  My dog loves these dog leashes and it also gives him a little privacy when he needs it (if you know what I mean.)  Enjoy your walk!

In my summer walks on the beach I saw some of the cutest summer dog clothes.  These little (and big) dogs are having the time of their lives because they are with their best friends.  Their owners are having a great time also because they too are with their best friend.  Most people like dogs and when someone is walking their dog they get looks.  Therefore, when a dog is in a cute dog bikini you see smiles on peoples face.

These cute dogs, dressed in their summer dog clothes, get a lot of attention.  So next time I go to the beach or the pool I’m dressing my dogs in their dog shorts and a cute dog bikini. 

I was looking around today and noticed that there are so many cute dog dresses.  There are After-5 dresses, wedding dresses, bridesmade dresses, flower dog dresses, and Holiday dresses of all kinds.

Although it’s in the middle of the summer I’m thinking ahead.  My dog will be attending fun parties so I think I’ll start looking around for the cutest dog dress I can find. 

Most dogs like to ride in the car.  They are always wanting new “sniffs”.  But how safe is your dog having free run of the car while you’re driving?  They want in the front seat then in the back and then on your lap.  What should happen if you are in a wreck?  Where would your dog end up?  Maybe on the floor board or perhaps like a bullet through the windshield.  All of these things are good for thought.  Just like a child they are in danger when riding in the car.

There are many dog carriers to keep them safe in the car.  The dog booster seats are just great for the little ones.  They strap in the backseat using the car seat belts and the dog is able to sit on a comfy cushion and still be high enough to see out the window.  Then open the window and let them “sniff” away knowing they will be safe and out of harms way.

My pup and I were in a fashion show recently, but we almost didn’t hit the runway because I couldn’t find a collar that would make her stick out.  After much search on the internet, I found fabulous gold jeweled dog collars. 

Eventually, it came in the mail with two days to spare, but we were able to walk that runway and strut our stuff.  In the end, I was happier with the fact that after the fashion show, my dog could still look absolutely chic. 

Like people, different dogs can accept varying degrees of temperatures.  Some dogs are more susceptible to cold weather or, just in general, sensitive to low temperatures.  If you feel like you have a dog like this, it might not be such a bad idea to purchase dog clothing for them.

When I was younger, my dog would wear the older hooded sweatshirts that were essentially hand me downs (paw-me-downs?) from my brother.  Now, I’ve found that there are several stores – both physical and online – that offer an array of dog clothing to keep our furry friends warm.  Don’t let your dog shiver on a cold morning and take advantage of these wonderful options we have now.

You say you’re getting married and you want to have your dog or dogs in the wedding.  Pets are actually family members and many people like to include them in all their activities so why not the wedding.

If your are planning on having your dog in your wedding the location may become a factor.  Check the location to see if they allow pets.  If you are having a church wedding you will need to check with the church to see if they allow dogs.  You don’t want to get your pet all dresses up and find out that they won’t be able to attend.  That would not make for a very good day.

Once you decide that your sweetness can participate in the wedding there are such cute dog bride dresses and tuxedos to choose from.  If not the bride dress then there are a lot of bridesmaid dresses also.  Dogs have participated in weddings as “flower dogs” and “ring bearer dogs”.  Perhaps just a beautiful jeweled collar of Swarovski crystals or a stunning necktie for your little man.  Whichever you decide you know your dog will look its best.

Don’t forget to get them groomed.  You want he or she to smell their best if they perhaps “steal the spotlight”.  They will be so proud to walk down the isle in style.  Also, after the ceremony be sure to make arrangements to have them cared for during the reception.  Your guests are probably pet lovers also but you know dogs like to beg and you don’t want them to be eating something that will be harmful to them.
